Garrett, 55, widely known Birmingham real estate man who ended his own life at the residence 2809 Summit Ave., Forest Park will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday from the residence with Dr. R.H. Crossfield pastor of the First Christian Church officiating. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Rideout in charge. Mr. Garrett was active in civil and faternal circles of this city and a member of the board of deacons of the First Christian Church. A native of Highland Home, Alabama, he came to Birmingham from Montgomery when he was a young man. His widow and 4 sons survive.
