William Jackson Gober was the son of Richard Robert H. Gober and Mary "Polly" Ayers. William was the husband of Sarah Jane King. They were married November 19, 1837 Franklin County, Georgia.
Their Children are: William, Emily, James, Julia, & John.

May have dead during Civil War as no info on him has been found after his enlistment 3 Apr 1862 in 40th Regiment, Georgia Infantry Company:G.

Julia Ann Gober Wood #68414468 Married to James Wood #68414362 both are buried at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Haralson County, Georgia.

Emily Jane Gober married James Jeremiah Pollard December 1, 1859 Haralson County, Georgia. Shortly afther her father's death, Emily, her mother, & her nephew John S. Gober moved West. Found in Kansas 1880 and on to Oklahoma by 1900.

James Russell Gober married Mary Gazaway ab 1866 in Dekalb or Polk County, Georgia. My Great Grandparents.

John Richard Gober married Sarah Ann Pollard ( sister to James) on August 14, 1873 in Carroll County, Georgia. Sarah died 1874 leaving one child John who was raised by his Aunt Emily & Grandmother. John married twice to Emeline Gann October 25, 1874 Haralson County, Georgia.
