Marilyn Panno Bousquet

Marilyn passed away in her sleep on Monday morning.

Born in Los Angeles, Marilyn met Paul Bousquet at University of California — Los Angeles in early 1950. Following their engagement, she waited for Paul to serve in Korea with the U.S. Army, after which they were married in 1953 and lived in Whittier, Calif. They had two children, Jim and Tina. They moved to the New York City/New Jersey area and lived there for seven years before moving to Corvallis.

Marilyn was a member of various women's organizations in Corvallis, including the Red Hat Society, the Corvallis Newcomers Club, the Corvallis Ladies Literary Society and the Corvallis Lunch Bunch.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Paul; son, Jim; daughter-in-law, Terry; sister, Gloria; three granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Christina.

The Holy Rosary will be recited at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Corvallis. A funeral Mass will be celebrated after the Rosary at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Catholic Daughters organization or the Knights of Columbus, both in Corvallis.
