Funeral services for William Milton McFatter, 77, of Angleton are set for Wednesday, September 28, 2005 in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Carroll Grigsby officiating. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery.

Mr McFatter was born April 7, 1928, in Campwood Texas to J. J. and Eloise Luce McFatter. He passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2005 in a Houston hospital. His early years were spent in the Texas Hill Country ranching; he later moved to the Gulf Coast and retired from Dow Chemical. He was a silver smith and spent several years making and selling silver jewelry.

He married Vondelle Welch on September 4 1949 and she preceded him in death along with his parents and brothers Joe and Jeff McFatter. Survivors include his son Harold Eugene McFatter and wife Karen; daughter Lofland and husband Jerry; and son James Milton McFatter and wife. Eight grandchildren survive, Will Lofland and wife Trasa; Debra Green and husband Neil; Kyle McFatter; Brian McFatter; Jarrod McFatter; Mason McFatter; Carey McFatter, and Stormy. Six great grandchildren survive; Hunter and Madison Lofland, Shelby and Macey Green, Eric and Kristopher Mills.
