Mrs. Charlotte Ashley died Sunday at the advanced age of 86 years, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edward Demott, North avenue. The cause of death was general debility. Surviving the deceased are two daughters, one of whom is Mrs. Demott of this city, and a son, Seymour Ashley, also of Battle Creek. The funeral services will be held at the home tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. Wm. S. Potter officiating. Burial will be made at North Marshall.--Battle Creek Journal, October 6.
