WILLIAM E. ALBERT, 136 John Street, died at the Gateway Nursing Home Friday at 11 a.m., aged 82 years.
Born in Middlebrook, Md., he grew up in Tom's Brook, Va., but spent the past 43 years in Hagerstown.
He was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church, and was the last surviving member of his generation of his family.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Beulah Harper, Mrs. Lona Rohrer; son, William E. Albert, all of Hagerstown; two granddaughters; eight grandsons; and eight great grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Kraiss Funeral Home, where the funeral will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m., the Rev. Dr. William M. Norment officiating, with interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
