Edward E. Elmore, 81, 4420 York Drive, Bradenton, died Monday (Sept. 11, 1978).
Born in Greenville, Miss., he moved to the area in 1962. He was a retired machinist foreman and member of Hope Lutheran Church. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Army Air Corp.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Frieda Elmore; two sisters, Ms. Iva Rogers of Magnolia, Ark., and Mrs. Wilma Parker of Dallas, Tex., and two brothers, Andrew Elmore of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and Tony Elmore of Springfield, I'll.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p m. today at Griffith-Cline Cortez Road Chapel.
The funeral service will he held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Griffith-Cline with Rev. Paul A. Ruff officiating. Burial will be at Skyway Memorial Gardens.
