Ben W. Fenner, son of Benjamin F. and Mary E. Spickard Fenner, was born near Dunn's Chapel, June 8, 1888, and departed this life June 21, 1965, at the age of 77 years, 13 days. He was hunted in marriage to Bertha J. Harvey, May 23, 1907. To this union were born two children, Walter H. and Helen M. After her departure from life, he later was married to Hazel M. Scott. To this union was born one daughter, Mary L. His entire life was spent in and around the community in which he was born.
He was a kind and loving husband and father. He leaves to mourn, his bereaved wife, hazel; two daughters, Helen M. Vanzant and Mary L. Stratton, and one son, Dr. Walter H. Fenner, 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
A dear one from us is gone
A voice of one we loved is stilled
A place is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled.
