In the 1930 Census, Rollo and his wife Crystal lived next door to his younger brother, Alva Amarine who was born in 1902. At that time, Rolo stated that he was a Carpenter. In 1940 Rolo and Crystal were living in Harrah, Yakima County, Washington
They had four children, all born in Washington. They were Elvin L, born in 1931, Walter Rollo, born in 1933, Fontella J. born 1937 and baby Dorothy A. Less than a year old. In 1940 Rollo was working as a farm laborer and had been prior to 1935. They had been living in Washington when all the children were born.
Things may not have gone so well for them at one point in their lives as they all moved back to Colorado since they are buried in Cemeteries in Colorado.
