Enos M. Hilton died at his home in Aurora, Saturday, March 27, 1915 of heart failure. Mr. Hilton had not been in good health, however for several years. Deceased was 63 years old, born a few miles northeast of Crane in Barry County and had spent his entire life in this vicinity. He was a member of the old Hilton family that immigrated to this country from Virginia in an early day and whose descendents number hundreds of good people over southwest Missouri. A wife and 12 children besides several brothers and sisters survive him. (Crane Chronicle)
