GEORGE W. WAREHAM DEAD.
____
Pioneer Resident of Omaha Dies of Asthma.
George W. Wareham, a pioneer resident of Omaha, died Thursday evening at his home, 1917 Wirt street, after a long illness from asthma. So severe had been his ailment that Mr. Wareham had spent his sleeping hours during the past two or three years sitting up in his chair, being unable to secure his rest in a reclining position. Thus the later years of his sixty-three years of life were clouded with pain and suffering.
Thirty years ago Mr. Wareham came to Omaha from Dubuque and had prospered financially, being a heavy property holder at the time of his death. He leaves a widow, one son, who is attending the law department of the University of Michigan, and one daughter, residing at home. He was a brother of the late Mrs. John A. Creighton.
Funeral arrangements have been deferred until a reply as to time of arrival is received from the son at Ann Arbor.
