Gladys Emma Lyons, 81, died Friday, April 8, 1988 at Central Kansas Medical Center, Great Bend. Born Gladys Emma Moore Sept. 2, 1906, in Stafford County, she was married Walter Lyons. He died in 1968. She was a retired licensed practical nurse and was a Great Bend resident for the past two years, formerly of Hoisington.
Survivors: brother, Fred A. Moore, Jr., Hoisington; and two grandchildren.
Graveside service was 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Ponca City, Okla. Trout Funeral Home, Ponca City, Okla., was in charge of arrangements. Bryant-Christians Funeral Home, Great Bend was in charge of local arrangements.
