William C. Cook, 77, of Tiffin, died at 5:55 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at Tiffin Mercy Hospital.

William was born Oct. 13, 1935, in Tiffin, to Ernest and Alice (Sayre) Cook. He married Nancy (Squeo) April 6, 1957, at First Presbyterian Church, Tiffin, and she survives in Tiffin.

William also is survived by his four children,of Sulphur Springs, of Texas, of Florida and of Tiffin; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

William was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jeffrey Cook; and two brothers, Ray and Donald Cook.

William retired from American Standard and was a member of First Presbyterian Church where he was an elder and Sunday School teacher. William was a great family man who loved helping his children with anything that they needed. William was a 1954 graduate of Columbian High School and a United States Marine veteran serving during Korea.

There will be a memorial service at First Presbyterian Church, Tiffin, at a later date
