S.L. Optometrist Dies in Hospital
Parley Parker Moore, of 237 east First South street in charge of the optical department in the Z.C.M.I., died in a local hospital Sunday afternoon following an operation for acute appendicitis.
Mr. Moore had practiced optomery in Salt Lake since 1915, coming here from Ogden. He was born in Ogden on Nov. 14, 1875, a son of David and Diana Herick Moore.
Surviving are his widow, Dorothy Moore; a brother, Henry Moore, Ogden; a sister, Mrs. Clara Fronk, Ogden, and eight sons and daughters, Mrs. Violet Bryant, Ogden; H. A., Eugene and Vera Moore; Mrs. J. N. Sudduth, Mrs. Eva Davey, Mrs. M. W. Jarvis, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Myron Hurd, Kansas City, Mo.
