WHEELER ARMSTRONG DEAD.
   At the dawn of day and after months of suffering, death claimed Wheeter B. Armstrong, at his home, 76 Walnut street, on Saturday morning. Deceased, who was a young man, being but 34 years of age, was attacked with cancer of the stomach and notwithstanding that all possible methods were used to restore him to health he gradually grew worse and one week ago became so weakened that all hope of saving him was abandoned. Mr. Armstrong was a son of the late F. Howard Armstrong, a former postmaster of town and a leading citizen of the municipality. He is survived by his wife and five children, Irene, Ruth, Wheeler, Ermon and Lucretia; also one sister, Mrs. Harry Archey, wife of Dr. Archey, and one brother, Henry M., the latter of Wilkes-Barre. Deceased was a member of the Improved Order of Heptasophs, which organization will attend the obsequies in a body. The funeral will be held on Tuesday afternoon, with,services at the Welsh Congregational Church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. H. R. Hughes, who will be assisted by Rev. W. T. Blair of the M. E. Church and Rev. L. O. Knipp of the Christian Church. Interment will be in Shawnee Cemetery. Friends may view the remains at the house until 2 o'clock. Mr. Armstrong was prior to his illness employed in the clerical department of the Hazard Hope Works.
