A graveside service was held today in the Coachella Valley Cemetery for Rollin P. Huntoon, 75. Mr. Huntoon died Friday. A native of Fort Worth, Texas, he lived in the Coachella Valley for 31 years. He was active in farming and later worked at Valley Motors (now Sunrise Chevrolet). He was a former member of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Reserves and was a member of the Eisenhower Medical Center Auxiliary in Rancho Mirage. Mr. Huntoon is survived by his wife, Edith; a son, John Huntoon; a daughter, Susie Miehls; and a grandchildren. Arrangements were made through Fitz Henry Funeral Home, Indio. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Eisenhower Medical Center in Mr. Huntoon’s name.
