Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Doris Carnahan LaCaze was Thursday, August 29, 2013 at The Holy Rosary Chapel (Emmanuel) in Chopin, LA, the Rev. Dan O'Connor served as celebrant. Interment followed in Emmanuel Cemetery.

Mrs. LaCaze, 84 years of age and a long time resident of Chopin, passed away Monday, August 26th in Alexandria, LA. She was born December 19, 1928 to Adam and Jessie McGlothlin Carnahan in the Emmanuel Community. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Joseph LaCaze. She will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother and great grandmother.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children; daughter and son-in-law of Alexandria; six sons and daughters-in-law; a sister of Chopin; a brother and sister-in-law of Chopin; thirteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Services were under Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. .
