Dr. Alma R. Roudebush, 91, of 333 Raley Ave., Carrollton, died Thursday, June 4, in Friendship Village Nursing Home at Columbus following a brief illness. Born April 3, 1901, in Carroll County, she was a daughter of the late Jasper and Margaret (Shepherd) Roudebush. She was a home economics professor, teaching at State University College at Buffalo, New York, from 1933 until retiring in 1967. She also taught at various other universities as a visiting professor in home economics. She was a member of the Church of Christ (Christian) at Carrollton, Kappa Omicron Nu Honor Society, Ohio State University Alumni Association, Home Economics Alumni Association, New York State Teachers Retirement Associations, American Home Economics Association, and national and state member of Phi Upsilon Sorority.
Surviving are two nephews, David Massay of Delaware, Joe Massay of Elida; a niece, Mrs. R. A. (Joan) Dennis of Orinda, California. All formerly resided in Carrollton. A sister is deceased. Services were held Saturday in Allmon-Dugger Funeral Home, Carrollton, with Rev. Edwin Shriver officiating. Burial was in Grandview Cemetery, Carrollton.
