Fiodor III Romanov b. June 9, 1661 d. May 7, 1682 Russian Czar. Born Fyodor Alexeiovich Romanov, the eighth child of Alexis I Czar of Russia and Maria Ilianovna Miloslavsakya. He was educated in the traditional subjects but was also tutored in Polish and Latin. Suffering from illness as an infant, he was afflicted with poor health and physical disabilities for the rest of his life. Ryurikovich III., Ivan Vasiliyevich b. January 22, 1440 d. October 27, 1505 Russian Tsar. He was a member of the Ryurikovich Dynasty, the dynasty that ruled Russia before the Romanovs. Known as Ivan the Great, he became the first Sovereign of All of the Russias and laid the foundations for autocracy in Russia.
