Jarrett, Hanson Chambers Taylor b. March 2, 1837 d. April 10, 1890 Indian Mutiny Victoria Cross Recipient. He received the award on June 21, 1859 for his actions as a lieutenant in the 26th Bengal Native Infantry of the British Indian Army on October 14, 1858 at Baroun, near Lusknow, British India during the Indian Mutiny of 1857. He was born in Madras, British India and was commissioned as a lieutenant in the 26th Bengal Native Infantry.
