I'm a native of Scott County, Tennessee, where I currently live. My husband, James Burton Sexton, and I met in first grade and graduated together from Huntsville H.S. My parents were Clyde Reed and Joyce Voiles Reed who were charter members of the (original) Scott County Historical Society and did research in genealogy for more than 25 years. My husband owns and maintains the J. W. Sexton Family Cemetery near Helenwood, TN. His parents were Olus Caswell Sexton and Geneva Helen Brown Sexton. I was a math teacher/professor for 34 years before I retired.
