3 years ago this coming Wednesday, June 6th, I lost my mother. It was after her death that I realized I really didn't know much about her or my fathers' families. My real research started a year ago April when I finally got a computer and was able to buy a program to do genealogy research. As I am a new computer user and also new to genealogy this has been a slow process. Lucky for me that I have an Aunt on my fathers side of the family who has been able to supply a lot of information on our past. She & I spent last summer visiting many cemeteries trying to locate grave sites and are ready to start again.
