Related to Rockhold, Middlesworth/Middleswarth, Skidmore, Mechem (various spellings), Temple, Rea, Reiger & Smart families (among other distant ones) and Metz, Musser, & Althauser on my wifes side. Formerly of West Mansfield, Ohio, we now live in Bellefontaine, Ohio.

Hobbies include rollercoasters/amusement parks, Ham Radio operator (KS8W), photographing covered bridges and lighthouses. We have appeared on two Discovery Channel programs on rollercoasters, plus Nat Geo and A&E channels, and numerous local TV stations/newspapers. We have ridden about 400 different rollercoasters in about 50 different amusement parks.

I have my loving wife, JoEllen (of 40 years), two beautiful daughters (Chelsea and Christie), two wonderful son-in-laws, and three growing grandsons (Christopher, Jack and Tommy) and one Granddaughter (Caroline). I am semi-retired due to heart/health problems, having had open heart surgery for 5 by-passes in 2009. I was previously a respiratory therapist then a self-employed florist. I currently work at Donato's Pizza as a delivery driver. Previously, I was also a village councilman for the village of DeGraff, Ohio, a volunteer Disaster Team Leader for the American Red Cross of Logan County (Ohio) and volunteer at the local Habitat for Humanity Restore. I can still do, or try, most everything I want, I just have to go slower. I use my walking around searching in the cemeteries as part of my exercise program.
