My name is A.Y. Old and I live in Virginia. I got interested in finding headstones for others in little known cemeteries several years ago. My ancestors started here in Virginia in the 1600's and spread to Tennessee, Arizona and Texas. Now I have a wonderful excuse to travel more.
I felt a great sense of accomplishment after helping a wheel-chair bound friend whenever he needed "legs" to hunt for his ancestors. Helping him led me to some interesting grave sites in back yards and/or cow pastures. Awsome things, cemeteries.
