Both my maternal and paternal grandparents were early pioneers of the valley in Garfield County, Colorado, where I was born and raised. After graduation from Rifle High School, I served three years in the United States Army. My husband and I live in Michigan in an area where his great great grandparents were early settlers. We have two grown children. Genealogy is one of my great passions. I do research on more than 17 lines including PALMER, HOLLIDAY, CURRAN, WELCH, BUTLER, LUSK, UNDERWOOD, BRUCHEZ and COSE. I also have acquired genealogical information about many families of Garfield County, Colorado to which I have indirect family ties as well as others whom I grew up around in the valley.
