Bio

What I am is old. Really old. I was born and grew up in Michigan, but moved to California as a teenager. I have tried to write a bio, but there is just no way to sugar-coat that, and everyone would be happier if I just skipped it. I ended up married to an aerospace engineer, who was a Vietnam vet, and we moved to the Houston area when the Shuttle program started. He had so many good qualities, but the only flaw he ever had was critical, so I bailed. It really was a pitiful shame. Some PTSD there, I think, on both sides. Thanks to the war in Vietnam, there has been a profound shortage of men of my generation. No shortage of draft dodgers and 4F'ers, unfortunately.

The thing that influenced my life most profoundly was the war, and everyone is better off if i just don't say anything about it.

It has not been a fun life, at all, but what doesn't kill you, makes you a survivor. And very, very old.
