When my husband passed away in 1991, I learned how short life really is, and what true grief is all about. Since then, I have remarried and am truly blessed to be happy again, but it has not erased the memories or the love I had for my late husband. Since his death, I have lost others who meant so much to me and when I found this site, it was a way to honor them, visit them, write about them, and let others know about them. I thank all the wonderful people who visit my friends and family, especially those who have left sweet messages,images and music. I join others in leaving messages when possible as a means to offer a little comfort to other grieving people. Life is very difficult at times and so often filled with heartache and grief, so if we can embrace someone, or be embraced, in the way of comfort, then we have done something worthwhile.
