I apologize for not being responsive. I have had health issues for the last several years, but hope to be back in 2024, if not sooner. Michigan Ave. (Ft. Myers Cemetery) is a dangerous area to be in, even in the daytime, but I will see what I can do when I'm able.

Born in Joliet, IL. Live in Cape Coral, FL. Maiden - Krajewski
Started genealogy looking for my stillborn sister, Mary Krajewski. (1954) & brother, Joseph Krajewski. (1956). Supposedly buried in Calvary, Joliet, IL and/or Sts. Cyril & Metthodius in Lemont, IL. The hospital record for Mary states she was baptised in the hospital, but no other records seem to exist.

Former member of Member of Kane County, Lemont Historical Genealogy Societies (IL), and the Lee County FL Genealogical Society. Volunteered in genealogy at the Ft. Myers, FL Public Library. I'm a current member of the Southwest Florida Historical Society.

Looking for info on Krajewski - Lemont, IL/Poland?, Schildgen - Joliet/Daun, Germany, Duckworth - Illinois, Kaehlert - Plainfield, IL, Wilhelmi - IL/Germany, Kosmowski(a) - IL/Poland?, Szurpiet - IL/?, Malm - IL/Sweden, Burdick - IL/?, and Wesolowski - IL/? - all around Will and DuPage Counties. Kowalski - WI/?, Capobianco - NY/FL/Sicily, Sauerbrey - FL/NY/Germany, and Scannavino in Brooklyn, Kings County, NY and Islip, Bayshore, Long Island, and Bronx areas. From the Palermo, Sicily area. Traveled with a daughter Giovanna in 1909. Father was Luigi and Mother was Concetta Scannavino.

I try to assist for historic preservation of the gravesites, assisting others in their research, and telling their stories. During my interim, I will be adding obituaries for further info for researchers and GPS locations, if I have that. Some photos were uploaded prior to those capabilities. If you want a memorial, just email me.

Please note - I'm NOT into the numbers game as some are. You also may use photos with credit to Find-A-Grave, but not me, so people may find additional info, if available, if they prefer. Thank you very much and thank you to the fellow Gravers out there. God bless.
