Bio

I live in Arlington, VA, just across the Potomac River from Washington, DC. Virginia is steeped in history. The church that George Washington worshipped at still stands in Old Town Alexandria, VA. I have visited his home, Mt. Vernon, and his and Martha's graves there. I have also visited Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's home, near Charlottesville, VA. Gadsby's Tavern, in Old Town, where George Washington, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson, among others, visited and was the site of many patriot gatherings in the early days of the American Revolution, is still open. I work just across the street from the Washington Monument and I live just a few minutes from Arlington National Cemetery, where President John F. Kennedy is buried. I am originally from Logan County, West Virginia, and while I have lived here in Arlington longer than I lived there, my heart is and always will be in the beautiful hills of West Virginia. I found this site by accident while searching the web, it is one of the sites that I come into and check the new listings and photos. And, I have added a few people myself. I often wondered where some famous people were buried and this site is wonderful for finding them.
