Bio

I became interested in genealogy when my daughter was young as I wanted to preserve our family's history for her. Growing up I heard a lot about ancestors through my parents and grandmother in particular. I also knew that I had descended from Gov. William Bradford, which I thought was pretty cool. When I decided to start my documentation, I was pleased to find that my mom had some records on hand to get me started, and she was a tremendous help in giving me what I needed. One thing led to another, and I next tackled my dad's side, which was a bit harder as he was dead by this point. Then I jumped into my husband's lineage on both sides! Part of genealogy to me is acknowledging and respecting where one's remains/cremains rest. I am so grateful for all who have contributed on this site, and hope I can give back.
