I have been working with my families genealogy since 1974. The main families I have worked with on my Mother's side are: Wayland, Matthews, and Lay. On my father's side are: Nystrom, Wickland/Vikland (Sweden and US) and Broyles (adopted name).
On my husband's side: Johnston, Copeland, Bessey, Bovee, Gane/Ganes and Gallagher.
Any info regarding the Johnston connection between Wisconin and Maine woud be appreciated. It is believed that the Johnston's of this line were Loyalist. However, not proven as of this date. My brick wall. Lol!
