I'm a 14th generation Connecticut yankee, a descendant of Stephen Clawson (born 1630 in Stamford CT) and his wife, Elizabeth Periment Clawson (born 1631 in Stamford CT) In 1692, Elizabeth was one of the few Connecticut women tried and aquitted of witchcraft during the days of the Salem Witch Trials.
My family, for the past six generations, for the most part is buried at Long Ridge Union Cemetary in Stamford CT, although some (including my parents) are in St. Michael's in Stratford CT and some are in Mountain Grove in Fairfield CT.
Additionally I have 10 ancestors who were aboard the Mayflower. Georeat grandparents and Henry Plantagenet (Henry II) and his wife Eleanor of Aquataine were my 23rd great grandparents.
