I am a recently retired grandmother who loves her current family and those passed on. My family of Purcells/Tweedles and Evans lived around Greenville and Celeste in east Texas. They were all farmers and down-to-earth people. I strive to be just as down-to-earth though I was born and raised in Fort Worth.

What a nice surprise it was to find my Purcells and Tweedles (see East Mount Cemetery in Greenville, Texas) and my Evans and Thompsons (see the Celeste, Texas Cemetery) in Find A Grave.

My Uncle Ralph Evans has previously been very involved in setting up a maintenance fund for the Celeste Cemetery. He swears that the true name of the site is Hogeye Cemetery as it is located in the Hogeye Community near but not in Celeste. They may now have a sign up with Hogeye Cemetery near the gate.
