Bio

I am from Weatherford Texas home of Mary Martin and Larry Hagman (J.R.-Dallas ) Spent a few tours over in the Nam... I came over to the Netherlands and met my wife...am working for the Army over here and started visiting Military Cemeteries at first...my wife being Dutch about 20 years ago adopted a grave of an American soldier in the Margraten American Cemetery...which turns out to be Maj. Oliver Horton Co. Commander to the Band of Brothers...whom Capt. Winters took over after his death here in Holland...the wife and myself visit his grave as well all the others and she all ways brings flowers to say Thank You for their Liberation during WW II. The Dutch people are this way and they are the only country where the U.S. has given permission for the host county to adopt a grave and to try to find relatives of these deceased soldiers...many have found lasting friendships thru this activity...truely Fantastic what can bring one together. Also spend time thru out Europe visiting graves.
