From William and Hannah (Hobson) Polk to their son, William Hobson Polk, who married Mary Magdalen Prunk.
From William and Mary Magdalen (Prunk) Polk to their son, David King Polk, who married Ada Ray.
From David K. and Ada (Ray) Polk to their son Sampson Tener Polk, my grandfather.
