Born and raised in St Joseph, Mo. Dad was born in Rockport, MO and Mom in Minn. Took interest in geneology 15 years ago when the family moved from Independence, Mo to Grain Valley, MO. Found a lot of old records that were very interesting. I find it fasinating. I enjoy photography and when I can make it to a cemetery I try to take as many pictures as I can and save them. Some of the older stones are already hard to read and someday no one will know what they written on them. It's good to preserve their history. Everyone has a story and left a piece of themselves with us.
