I am retired from county government as a department head for over 20 years and the private sector where I worked as an operations manager for the last seven years of my career. I have enjoyed genealogy as my hobby since 1999. I have served as the treasurer of Hardin County Genealogy Society since 2002 and volunteer each Thursday afternoon at the Genealogy Library. I also spend many hours transcribing our old records here and some for the Family Search web site. Family history is important to me as well as being able to pass on what I have learned to my grandchildren and their children.
