Bio

I was adopted at age 2 and in 1997 I found out who my birth parents were. Unfortunatly they had both passed away by the time I located them. I've been tracing my family tree since 1997 and have found many relatives, both living and deceased. I've located 7 out of 8 half-siblings and have met three of them. One passed away 3 years ago and the other two I no longer have contact with. I've added memorial pages for my birth parents (Kenneth Alger Nestell and Marie Margaret Edna Peterson Goscicki)and one of my half-sisters (Mabel Judy Carder Brewer.) I've also added numerous memorial pages for grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins. I found a cousin of mine when he sponsored my birth mother's memorial page. Thank you Ed! I visited the cemetery where my birth father was buried, discovered he didn't have a grave marker (it was pouring down rain that day and you should have seen me pacing up and down the row looking for his marker), so I bought him one. I went back up to Michigan the following year and took a picture of it. Found a cousin of mine who sent me some pictures of my birth father and I put one of them on his memorial page.

I currently live in Anderson, SC with my husband Jerry and the two of us get out exercise by walking up and down rows of grave markers at a local cemetery taking pictures.

I joined Find a Grave over 3 years ago and it wasn't until a few months ago that I have become active on it. What can I say...I'm addicted!
