Bio

Hi, I am a Volunteer Manager for a Hospice.
My hobbies include photography, scrapbooking, gardening, and geneaology. I take beautiful photos of landscapes, flowers, beaches and relaxation photos to show patients for visual imagery & relaxation. I live in NJ. I am married and we have very cute cats. I have always been interested in my family history as a child.
I started my family history journey in 1975 by going to cemeteries & writing for records.
I found my Union Civil War Ancestors while visiting my husband's Uncle Eddie's gravesite in Rockaway,NJ. The brothers were buried almost behind him. Their other brother in the Union Army was buried in another cemetery almost next to his Aunt in North Arlington, NJ. I found alot of my family by visiting cemeteries in NJ & NY.
I have donated my Family Scrapbooks with photos to Ellis Island. Take a look if you are interested. Family Books: Russo/LoRusso, Savino/Courter, Crawford/Roebuck, Hudak/Drahos.
Let me know if I can help in New Jersey.
My last link in my husband's family is a tough one. His grandmother: Annie Mc Dowall Crawford
(Roebuck)from Carluke, Scotland. Born 2/28/1903 in Hamburgh Cottage, Carluke,Scotland. She married Robert Roebuck 8/3/1923. Brothers: George & Robert. Sisters:Lizzie married Tom Gilcrest. Jean married Bert Sullivan. Lost contact after 1929. Children: Annie(Nan)Foulger, Ben Roebuck, Catherine Mc Murray Roebuck-Hudak. Ben & Catherine live in the USA.
Annie Foulger died in England.
