I collect painted miniature portraits from the 18C to 20C and freely share the portraits with researchers via my website. The website is called Artists and Ancestors and is at www.portrait-miniature.blogspot.com It displays many painted miniature portraits from America, Britain and Europe. As part of my research I like to add details about the sitters in the portraits whenever possible. Thus I am very grateful to contributors to FAG who post grave details on the website. On my first visit to FAG I was able to link grave site details for about 6 or 7 people to sitters in the collection. My website aims are a little like FAG, to preserve the history of various individuals and make it freely available to interested researchers. Thus, I am very happy for images from the collection to be shown on FAG.
