My Mother and Father were Paul Justice Mason and Clarice Hope Helm Mason. I was born in Violet Hill, AR and had two brothers, Wendell and David, and one sister, Colleen. When I was about 2 1/2 my parents moved to Wenatchee, WA. When I was 9 we moved to the big city of Seattle. The year I graduated from Franklin HS in Seattle we moved to KC, Missouri to be nearer to my grandparents and other extended family members. I met my husband, John Julius Rhoades in KC and we had 4 beautiful children, Kari, John, Bryan and Steven. In 1985 my husband's job brought him to Charlotte, NC. My husband died in 1993.
