Born in Lima, Allen Co., Ohio the eldest of three children. We left Lima in 1943 and settled in Alameda, California. I enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corps in November 1948 and retired in December 1970.

I have always held an interest in the family history. Asking lots of question as a young lad and storing the information in my mind. I began my genealogy records in earnest about 1988 and am working on two familys in a time share mode. My interest is SWEENEY/BLY (my parents), WOLFF/HARKEY (my wife's parents).
