Bio

As a child growing up in Ohio, I remember attending Balzer family reunions and being utterly amazed that I was related to all those people! Yet, it wasn't until many years later in my 50s when I was expecting the birth of my first grandchild that I began my journey in genealogical research. I love doing research on Find-A-Grave as it is a verifier for much of my research.

For my tree, I am researching the following families: Shirey, Chatel, Balzer, Maitre, Pagan, Hoss, Kap, Baillez, Andrey, Leraitre, Schaefer, Brahm, Owens, Schatzel, Heddeshiem, Bohn, Lookinbill, Halliday, Kimnach, Shentz, Reye, Paris. These names take me back to my 3rd Great Grandparents. Sixteen names are still missing, mostly from my maternal French line.

I appreciate any info or help you may offer along the way. I am also willing to share info with you!

I am currently located in Ottawa, Ontario in Canada.
