Back in 1995, my son was graduating from high school and I thought I would give him an old picture box with picture and documents that dated from the late 1800's and forward. As we were going thru the pictures, he would ask, "Dad, who's this, or who's that. 'I didn't know'. So I started my journey into Genealogy.

Along the way, I have learned a lot of history about my family and it has been an extremely enjoying trip. I now do it all the time. I also help others at Rootsweb and Genforum, etc.

I have my gedcom at World Connect and have put my direct ancestor's tombstones and photo's at Find A Grave which is a truly fine site and it'll be even better in the future.
