I was born and raised in central Indiana and now live near Murray,KY.
I have came to this area of Kentucky my entire life visiting my grandparents that lived here.
As a teen my father would drive me around the back roads and show me some of these older cemeteries. I have ever since been fascinated with them.
My daughter and I are now doing the same but this time with cameras and pens and paper. She makes a great companion and assistant for this.
If there are any older cemeteries around the Murray areas that are not photographed or missing a few please let me know and I will do my best to find them.
I will only post the information I get off the marker as I do not know the history of the people buried here. I will leave that to their friends and family should they choose to do so.
