I've been working on my family's genealogy for a little over a year, primarily on Ancestry.com. I've found several members of my family also working on our genealogies, on both sides of the family.

When I mentioned this to a couple of my friends, they wanted to know about some particular member of their families, so now, when I get bored or frustrated with one family line, I go work on another.

I've found that Texas has a lot of records online, but I suspect that a lot of folks were born in a bunkhouse, made it into perhaps one census, then were gunned down by Matt Dillon somewhere lol.

I live in Lincoln County, NM, and would be glad to do a few lookups when I can, if needed.
