Bio

Hi, my name is Caren. My husband and I live in beautiful Fort Collins, Colorado. We have 5 adult children. I have an identical twin sister and I have quadruplets. My interest in genealogy goes back a long way, but loosing our grandmother (at the age of 97) made me realize that all her stories, pictures and memories will be forgotten if someone doesn't "keep them alive". We are more than the date we are born and the date we die. It's the "dash" in between that is what matters. My favorite lyric (Amy Grant)says it all:
"Up in the attic, down on my knees
Lifetime of boxes, timeless to me.
Letters and photographs yellowed with years,
Some bringing laughter, some bringing tears.
Time never changes the memories, the faces
of loved ones who bring to me...
All that I come from and all that I live for
and all that I'm going to be.
My precious family is more than an heirloom to me."
