I was born in Manchester, Connecticut. I went to college and married in New York City. I moved to Chappaqua, Westchester County, New York and lived there for over twenty years.
I now live in the Asheville, North Carolina area.
My Mother was born in Monkton/Charlotte, Vermont. The farm was located in both towns.
My Father was a city boy, born in Providence, Rhode Island. They met and married in Hartford, Connecticut.
I am a Genealogy enthusiast and Find A Grave has been an enormous help to me.
I love walking in old cemeteries. In Manchester, East Cemetery, was a favorite walk for my Mother and I. Lots of history from the Cheney Silk Mills Family, little enclaves of private cemeteries walled in with wonderful hedges and plantings. Both my parents are now buried there.
I have two adult children, a son in Asheville and a daughter in Los Angeles.
