I have been interested in genealogy since I was a young child in Wisconsin hearing my grandmother tell stories about her parents from Poland.

My ancestors on my father's side originate from Mexico. They are a little harder to track down.

I have always known I am a decendant of the Tharp Family but only recently discovered that they settled in Kewanee, IL in the 1840's.

I live in Alabama but travel all over the U.S. several times each year.
