I am a retired educator. My love for genealogy and history began as child when I started writing down the oral history of older family and community members. For me it was exciting to hear stories like the one from a great-great Aunt, whose father was on Sherman's March to the Sea and my Grandmother's immigration stories about her family. For me history has always been a passion.

Currently, I am the Director for the Clinton County Cemetery Commission located in Clinton County, Indiana focusing on the preservation and restoration of pioneer cemeteries in our Hoosier county. I am also the caretaker and treasurer for St. Paul Cemetery (AKA Swamp Creek Graveyard) in Forest Township, Clinton County, Indiana and have access to the cemetery records. During the summer of 2009 under a grant from the Eli Lilly Foundation I transcribed gravestones in multiple graveyards in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland and memorials have been created in FAG for those.

My main goal in Find-A-Grave is to preserve as much accurate history as possible for future generations.
